Silver Millennium is a vision started in January 2004.
I am a major Sailor Moon fan, having the usual SM nut's gear, such as the entire tv series through to Sailor Stars, the whole manga series, and a host of other more collectable items such as books, scrolls, and posters.

Anyway... the main inspiration for this site for me was the lack of other really good sites on the series. There are some brilliant Sailor Moon sites out there, and there are some that haven't been updated since 1999 (the ones I always seem to find...) but for me, it seems that so many of the best sites are either shutting down (like SilverMoonLight) or have been hit by some other kind of computer related disaster (SignOfSenshi) and it's quite upsetting, as it seems that the only sites that will be left soon will be the ones last updated in the 90's!
So I'm creating Silver Millennium for several reasons: 1, because something needs to be done after the misfortune befalling other SM sites. 2, because I really want to make a site that stands as a great source of information, but also as an ambassador to the series for someone who hasn't seen it before. 3, because I bloody love Sailor Moon! 4, because it gives me something to do, somewhere to put this stuff they've been giving me at uni to use. And finally, 5, because I thought only having 4 reasons sounded shallow.

Incidentally ('cos I know it's not that important really!) I (Brian) am from Scotland. Yes, that little backwater place that everybody thinks is the same thing as Ireland... I'm currently (2004) in my 3rd year of university doing a degree in Internet Software Development... none of which I use here! Hey, it's Sailor Moon, it doesn't need any fancy tricks to look good!
